You can’t really think wedding without wedding dress.
It’s the element of the wedding day that can carry the most anticipation and speculation. The dress that will make everyone around you burst into tears and make your groom basically pass out because he is so overwhelmed by how lucky he is to be marrying you.
Ok.
That is a bit of an exaggeration- but it is a HUGE deal right?!
You very well may be the kind of bride that has had an exact idea of the kind of dress that you want for your big day. Perhaps you have had thousands of magazine cut outs saved since you were 8.
Or maybe you are the kind of bride that is more en mode, and wants a dress that reflects the style of the moment.
Or maybe, just maybe you don’t care about the dress at all. You actually wish that you could wear a nice outfit that you already have that won’t cost a ridiculous amount of money.
No matter what kind of bride you are, the dress/outfit selection process can be a huge stressor, and in some cases can make the entire wedding planning experience quite awful. You may have to deal with many differing opinions, the silhouette of your dreams not quite fitting your body shape, or the dreaded budget that appears to limit your possibilities.
However we will try to provide experiences and advice that will help you to remember the most important thing about THE dress.
The way it makes you feel.
It could make you feel beautiful and the star of the show, or as though the dress makes you look nice but isn’t drawing too much attention to you because you hate attention.
It could feel completely comfortable. Or not comfortable at all but you look so hot that you would happily forego breathing for a few hours (would not recommend, but this isn’t about me).
It could make feel like yourself. Or like a Victoria Secret model in a modest wedding dress.
The most important thing is that of all of these different ways a dress could make you feel, the right dress makes you feel the way that you deserve.
